Etude House I Need You, Yogurt! Wash-off Mask Pack Review – Apricot

I’ve been so busy at work that I haven’t had much time for blogging! ;___; but hopefully things will slow down a bit now.

I am usually too lazy for a wash-off mask, preferring the “pat-your-face-down-then-go-to-bed” scenarios that result from using sheet masks. I originally bought these for my mom but she said she already had too much stuff. Guess I know where I get this problem from >___> haha welp I’ll review them for you then! These masks by Etude House come in two types, yoghurt and honey, which each come with four individual mask packs that serve different purposes. It doesn’t say what each does on the packaging (at least not in English), but I did see them on the display in store so I jotted them down for myself. Then I realized maybe other people want that information, so here it is!

Strawberry – skin brightening
Kiwi – skin rejuvenating (read my review on it here!)
Apple – skin moisturizing
Apricot – removes dead skin cells

The first one I wanted to try was the apricot, since this winter has been dry and rude and my skin’s all rough and flaky and awful as a result. It’s an off-white color and has a thick, clumpy, congee-like texture that’s reeeaally unappetizing looking and I refused to photograph it. But it smells delicious! Like fresh, juicy apricot *___* These little containers actually have quite a bit of product, and despite globbing a thick layer on my face, chin, and neck, I only managed to use up half of it. And I know it says to use immediately after opening but I saved the rest and used it later on in the week. My face hasn’t melted off yet, but use your own best judgement about these types of things.

Sorry for the awful lighting, there have been so many snowstorms in my area lately and everything is terrible.

It says to leave the mask on for ten minutes before rinsing, but I left them on for around fifteen to twenty. But I didn’t notice any discomfort or stinging, which happens to me sometimes with sheet masks. And when I rinsed it off, my face felt fantastic. My cheeks had very obvious flaking, and the apricot mask either totally got rid of that or brilliantly disguised it. And my skin was sooo softtttt~

Of course the biggest con with this (so far) is that it’s so hard to find outside Asia. I did see a couple sellers on eBay carrying it for $5-6, but that’s the only place I can think of that would have it ): I’ll review the rest of these as well, so stay tuned to see if it’s actually worth hunting down! If the apricot one was sold separately I’d be all over it though.

Disclaimer: I don’t remember how much I actually spent on this, but I totally paid money for it.
